Autism mom Jen Turrell co-founded ABLE Interventions after experiencing first hand the difficulties rural families face in funding and accessing gold standard level autism services.

Together with co-founder Dr. Byra, BCBA-D, Jen has authored "Help! My Child Has Autism! A Parent's Guide to Start, Fund and Maintain and Evidence-Based Intervention" to help other families in rural and underserved areas overcome the barriers to starting an in-home, evidence-based therapy program.

Jen enjoys working with other autism moms as a mentor and has presented on funding and starting home-based programs for children with autism. Funding is key since few families will pursue a program they don’t believe they can pay for.

ABLE Interventions is currently developing a data collection app and data management system to simplify progress reporting and reduce paperwork.
