Exciting Changes at DailyWorth
An announcement from DailyWorth’s Founder Amanda Steinberg
Dear DailyWorth Community,
I’m so excited to finally be able to let you in on something we’ve been working on for the past few months — a new future for DailyWorth. Yes, we’re sticking with our core mission of helping you take control of your financial life. But we’ll be doing it with more: More content, more voices, more connection, more of everything you value and love.
Which brings me to the *we* in my first sentence. As many of you know, I founded DailyWorth 10 years ago to be the premiere women’s guide to money and business. Being your financial advocate has been the MOST rewarding, exhilarating opportunity of my life.
Many years ago, I had the honor of meeting Jean Chatzky, the financial editor of NBC’s TODAY show. She then became an investor in DailyWorth and a close friend and mentor to me. (Here we are together paddle boarding off the Jersey Shore. Fortunately, we’re both better at money than we are at this — but we had fun!)
I’m overjoyed to announce that Jean has acquired DailyWorth! You’re in amazing hands with Jean and I look forward to supporting her in making DailyWorth a better version of what it is today with fresh eyes, more resources and new leadership. But I wanted to give her a chance to introduce herself to you, as well.
Thank you so much, Amanda!
I feel like I know so many of you because I’ve been among you: Reading the DailyWorth newsletters, visiting the websites, figuring out my MoneyType and chatting with Amanda. But I’ve also, for more than 20 years, been in the field appearing on Today and Oprah, writing books, and hosting the HerMoney Podcast. I know that now, more than ever, we need to help each other use our money to create our best lives.
But, I couldn’t pick up the ball if Amanda hadn’t thrown it to begin with. The community she created with all of you has made such a difference in all of our lives. It’s my biggest hope to keep it not just going, but growing. That’s why I’ve already launched a new HerMoney private Facebook group (we’d love for you to be a part of the conversation, just tell us you want to join and you’re in) and have produced more than 100 episodes of the HerMoney Podcast, which you can subscribe to here. We’ve got wonderful conversations going on work, relationships, strategies, life — I hope you’ll join us.
