It’s been a sizzling year for MoreWorth—which marks its first anniversary in the New Year. To celebrate you, us, and the remarkable women who have shared their lives and thoughts with us, here are some high notes from 2012:
We met Natalia Oberti Noguera, one of those cutting-edge under-30 types, whose Pipeline Fellowship coaches female philanthropists to become angel investors, and support women entrepreneurs. (Pipeline is accepting applications for their spring 2013 program.)
DailyWorth founder (and mom of two) Amanda Steinberg shared some advice with Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer on becoming a C-suite mom: "There are 168 hours in a week, and it’s possible to make time for snuggling and conference calls.” Amen, and pass the baby wipes.
In a powerful reminder to know your worth, contributor Carolyn Graydon described her struggle to find a job where she was valued: “no amount of money was worth being in a toxic work environment.”
And in keeping with our m.o. to help you grow your worth (not just know it), we scored a simple but invaluable investing strategy from Joy Marcus, Venture Partner, DFJ Gotham Ventures.
Because we all want 2013 to be the year of living profitably!
