As founder of DailyWorth, I should embrace finance tips with Suze Orman-like enthusiasm, modeling myself for readers, colleagues and friends. Truth is, I don’t want to. Truth is that I have to be dragged kicking and screaming out of Target, with my fists clenched around new curtains and two glamor mags I know I don’t need and should not be spending money on right now.
