Emily R. Washkowitz is the Founder and CEO of Shareswell, the simple and secure platform for gifting stock for any occasion. Emily has deep expertise in leading a start-up company through growth and financing and graduated from Columbia University with an MBA in 2014. In the summer of 2013, Emily joined the Google Large Customer Sales team as an MBA Summer Intern. At Google, Emily created the Device Launch Playbook, a guide to launching new smartphone devices online, which is used across all clients and helped form AT&T's iPhone launch strategy. Emily is active in the New York entrepreneurship community and is associated with the Startup Leadership Program, 37Angels and Startup Columbia.

Prior to Columbia Business School, Emily was an early team member of StyleCaster Media Group, a fashion and beauty platform, where she supported the company’s growth into a multi-million dollar business in three years. As the Director of Client Services and Operations, Emily managed projects for global media initiatives with Fortune-500 Brands and helped generate over $4 million in revenue in 2012. Prior to this role, Emily served as the Director of Business Development, where she worked closely with investors and legal counsel throughout fundraising of $4.25 million in investment capital. She also developed the company’s sales process, inventory management, product implementation and increased efficiency threefold.

Emily holds a B.A. in History of Art and Architecture from Harvard University.
