Joan Sharp is the founder of Life Strategies, LLC; a firm that recalibrates a client's connection between life and money. Life Strategies, LLC provides clarity and confidence to clients who have wealth, making sure their financial resources enhance their life path not control it. Sharp’s perspective is fresh and cutting edge.

She has participated in the past at the PA Conference for Women. Joan has also served as a panelist for the Louisiana Women’s Conference in New Orleans, the CFA Annual High Net Worth Conference, the CFA Annual Endowment and Foundation Conference, and the High Water Women Investing for Impact Symposium, NYC.

Joan integrates her values and work by serving her community through philanthropic endeavors. She serves on the External Affairs Board Committee of Christiana Care, and the Board of the Delaware Community Foundation. She also engages in community outreach through a variety of professional organizations, including the Delaware Forum of Executive Women and the Wilmington Rotary. In the past, Joan was president of the YWCA of Delaware, on the Board of the Delaware Art Museum and on the strategic planning committee of the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. In 2012, she was given the Governor of Delaware’s Outstanding Volunteer Award.

Holding a Masters of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) from The American College and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Southern Methodist University, Joan also holds the following certifications: Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP), Registered Life Planner (RLP®),Master Certified Financial Transitionist(MCFT™). She has completed both parts of Money Quotient Financial Life Planner program.
