How Good Are You ACTUALLY with Money?
Take the 4-Minute Quiz to Find out Your Actual Skills, and What You Should Be Focusing on Next to Get Better.
Step 1 of 2
1) How do you manage your money now?
I'm too overwhelmed to know where to start.
I consistently try to plan and budget, but it's not working! I'm overwhelmed.
I manage day-to-day, but I'm not saving enough for the future.
I have my money handled, and I'm ready to invest more intentionally.
2) What are you most likely to worry about day-to-day?
Me, worry? I'm happiest not thinking about money.
There's never enough.
If only I earned more, I'd be able to live the life I really want.
The economy overall and its impact on stability of markets.
3) Saving or investing - which sounds most like you?
I honestly don't know the difference between the two.
I try to save and invest, but my existing bills make doing so a challenge.
I don’t have that much liquid cash savings, but I do contribute to a 401(k).
I have investments, but I suspect there are ways to better optimize them.
4) Do you think that debt is good or bad?
Not really sure. What's the difference between good and bad debt?
Debt is bad and I'm appalled by how much I pay in interest.
I carry a credit card balance once in a while, but I'm otherwise in control.
My only debts are my mortgage and/or student loans, and they are a worthy investment in my future.
5) What's your current work situation?
I'm a career-newbie and still figuring it out.
I'm fortunate that I don't have to work and am not planning to anytime soon.
I wish I could work less hours, but I can't afford to.
My job is fine, but I know I have the potential to do and earn so much more.
I own my own business or am in the process of starting one.
6) How much do you know about investing?
I don’t know what an index fund is, or what "IRA" stands for.
I don't currently earn enough money to invest.
I know how much money I have invested, but I don't understand how it's invested or why.
I know a lot. I manage my own or work closely with a financial advisor who's under my direction.
(Your 401(k) counts as an investment!)
